# Logic > *"How clearly can I understand what is connected?"* Logic is thinking faster and cleaner than a situation wants to let you. Taking the pile of information in front of you, finding the thread that ties it together, and pulling it before the wrong conclusion costs you something. A Fell with Logic does not lock up when things get complicated. They take the problem apart, find the crack, and put a boot through it. They see how a plan breaks before anyone tries it, read a stretch of wilderness like a map, and follow a crime back through the holes in its own story. The world is full of things hoping you will not think it through. Logic is the skill of disappointing them. > [!note] Example Skill Checks > > - Solve a mechanical, magical, or environmental puzzle by working out how it functions. > - Expose the flaw in an enemy's strategy, a false argument, or a constructed deception. > - Navigate wilderness, ruins, or an unfamiliar structure by reading how it was built. > - Trace a crime, event, or pattern back to its source through available evidence. > - Anticipate how a situation will develop by mapping cause and effect before it plays out.
