# Speechcraft
Speechcraft is the power of words used as tools: to persuade, negotiate, inspire, or cut. It is the ability to read a room, turn a conversation to your advantage, and move people through tone, timing, and presence.
A Fell trained in Speechcraft can rally allies in a desperate moment, cool a hostile situation before it turns violent, or goad an enemy into a mistake. Beyond combat it is the skill of diplomacy and rhetoric, the difference between war and a grudging truce, or between exile and walking out with what you came for.
In the Sphere, Speechcraft has shaped kingdoms as surely as swords. Orators who stopped armies with a single plea. Leaders who carried people through despair on conviction alone. Rogues who talked their way out of things that should have been impossible to talk out of. For the Fell, it is a reminder that the most effective weapon is not always the one in your hand.
